Melanie Goldberg, continued

Melanie also served as the Research Assistant for the Israeli Supreme Court English Language Repository, and worked as the Executive Editor for Cardozo’s Journal of Conflict Resolution. In 2015, she was one of five second-year law students selected for their excellence in public service law inside and outside the Cardozo community. Most recently, Melanie has been published by the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, and the National Security Law Journal at George Mason University.

In May 2015, Melanie was named one of The Jewish Week’s “36 Under 36,” recognizing her as one of the thirty-six most influential Jewish people under the age of thirty-six, internationally. In November of that same year, Melanie delivered a briefing on the current state of anti-Semitism on American college campuses to the U.S. House of Representatives Bipartisan Taskforce for Combatting Antisemitism. She also started a division of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights under Law, providing legal services to New York regional students in need of legal representation against their college administrations.

Melanie was named a Presidential Scholar at the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, Honors Academy, where she received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Journalism and TV/Radio in 2013.
